Environmental Professional responsible for conducting environmental site assessments, computer aided drafting (CAD), indoor air quality investigations (including mold and vapor intrusion conditions). Manage several projects under the authority of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation Drycleaner Environmental Response Program (TDEC-DCERP), which involves identification of contaminant source areas, development and implementation of remediation strategies, groundwater monitoring, and data analysis and reporting at sites impacted by releases of drycleaning solvents.

Performed various experiments using/involving Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, Polymerase Chain Reaction, numerous aseptic cell-plating experiments, hepatocyte isolation, and protein/DNA quantification via spectrophotometry. Managed a genetically altered animal colony, utilizing a selective breeding method to obtain desired genotypes/phenotypes, to be further used in scientific investigation. Collected, analyzed, and presented the data resulting from experimentation.

Taught several laboratory courses, including General Biology, Ecology, Cell Biology, and Anatomy & Physiology. Labs included explaining and demonstrating various biological concepts as well as numerous laboratory techniques (e.g., Isolation of macromolecules, Chromatography, Spectrophotometry, Microscopy, Animal dissections, etc.).

Thesis: Gametophytic & Sporophytic Responses of Pteris spp. to Arsenic. Graduate work dealt with the responses of the different life.
