• Head of Design and Drafting team of Architects, Structural Engineers and Draftsmen. • Monitor and plan workload programming for Engineering activities in the organization.• Organize design meetings with end-users, clients, and consultants. • Prepare Issues Management Log and solve critical issues with value engineering solutions. • Prepare the detailed design of structural systems for static and dynamic loads. • Perform manual calculations and software models as per code requirements. • Conduct assessments and evaluations of existing structures.• Review the Sub-Contractors and Specialist works design calculations & drawings. • Review the design changes and assess cost and time impact for the projects.• Support to Estimation team in preparing proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules.• Perform Engineering Risks assessment and preparation of appropriate mitigation strategies.• Provide support and advice to enable the professional development of colleagues within the team and the organization. • Develop solutions to challenges presented by the client within budget and project constraints.• Perform peer reviews, forensic studies and expert reporting for structural integrity. • Actively promote the Company to external organizations representing the critical areas of interest to the Company as identified in its Business Plans.• Work with new and existing clients to develop a firm foundation for long-term partnerships and ensure that One is their first point of call for all their design solutions.

OPERATIVE RESPONSIBILITIESPre-Bid & Concept Design Stage :• Developing Project Design Philosophy & Design Basis Memorandum.• Attending and chairing the design meetings in-house and with clients & consultants.• Preparing Master Layout of the Projects for the maneuverability study.• General Arrangement for Structures.• Extensive support to Estimation team to prepare proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules.Detail Design Stage:• Detailed design of structural systems involved in the project using Staad, ETABS and SAFE.• Preparing calculations, written reports and checking of contract drawings for detail design of project.• Proven track record on Design of Concrete structures, foundations, basements, Steel composite Major Bridges, Steel plate girder bridges, Concrete Culverts, underground and above ground tanks, Sewage Treatment facilities, Structural Steel with connections, Shear Connectors, Container Yards, Lateral Resistant Masonry walls, Composite Deck slabs, Machine support system, Industrial Floors, Retaining Wall, High mast pole foundations, Early Thermal & Shrinkage stress, Moving Load analysis, Jacking Loads, Wind analysis, Earth quake analysis, Fatigue Analysis, Influence Line Analysis, Crack widths etc…• Reviewing geotechnical reports, topographical reports & verifying material test reports.Execution Team Management & Project Coordination Stage :• Initiate and supervise engineering team on projects that meet project requirements on time and within budget.• Preparing & Monitoring Master Logs for Engineering Materials and Drawings.• Extensive coordination with Procurement department for finalizing Material as per required Specification.• Chairing weekly meeting with Procurement Dept. to monitor the material approvals & delivery status.• Co-ordination with Multi Disciplines for finalizing Construction Drawings.• Overseeing preparation of project progress presentations for high management reports.
