Database Administrator for 200k software requirements baseline, supporting $17B ACAT 1D military weapons system acquisition project. Team’s annual contribution to program was ~$20M by producing 1.2M SLOC with a defect density less than .03. The team was managed to CMMI Level 5 protocols and employed Software Engineering Institute Team Software Process and Personal Software Process standards. In addition to direct management of the DOORS requirements database, provided sustained and essential Windows server 2008 & 2003 System support. DOORS management included designing and implementing bi-directional traceability capabilities within the SDLC. Team growth from 40 to over 110 personnel in 36 month window stretched all technical support systems initially developed. Supervised and managed the rapid expansion of technical support through dynamic re-alignment of organic resources and rapid acquisition of additional resources to keep the team on schedule and delivering essential scope to our government customer. Created architecture for documenting interaction between business processes and IT systems required to build and maintain software flow diagrams. Upon contract cancellation (Sept 2011), was assigned direct managerial oversight of team’s shutdown activities. Astutely analyzed risks, schedule, and logistical requirements that led to the successful re-allocation, re-utilization and transfer of ~$10M in systems integration laboratory and support equipment to several off-site vendors, and other Air Force organizations on schedule, under budget, and without any safety or material handling issues.
