Justyn Spinner was born in Johannesburg in 1984 and has lived here for the past 34 years, which makes him a true Joburger. This being the case, it is very fitting that he has now taken over the family publishing business, SpinnerCom Media and publishes amongst other magazine a monthly city guide to Joburg, called Hello Joburg.Publisher of one of Johannesburg's premier entertainment and leisure magazines, Hello Joburg, Justyn Spinner navigates his way around corporate board room tables and exclusive media events from Monday to Friday. With a big focus on lifestyle and outdoor activities, the content of the magazine has become the real-life experience of its fearless leader. Justyn’s primary and high school years were spent at King David High School until the age of 16 when he moved to Eden College and matriculated with distinction. At the age of 18 he started working in the family business and in 2003 took over as Executive Editor of the companies seven magazine titles. In 2013 Justyn become Managing Director of the company and after signing up with the JT Foxx Coaching Organization, has expanded the business into other media such as digital, mobile and outdoor.Justyn has traversed the waters between Robben Island and Blouberg Strand, he has completed a Half Iron Man and the 94,7 Cycle Challenge twice. Always up for a 21km trail run, Justyn has also take on the Four Peaks Mountain Challenge in South Africa which is considered one of the country's toughest mountain races. He has 2 Midmar miles under his belt and a PADI Scuba instructor badge with a log book of over 300 dives.
