CurrentPain relief and performance are Julie's priorities. Julie provides great care in her own brand of specific, yet subtle, deep-tissue therapy and neuromuscular education, which she calls The Connect Method, combining the best of Eastern and Western manual therapies. Sessions address pain, ease and accuracy of movement, and alleviate symptoms from a full spectrum of medical and emotional conditions. Julie is certified in pre-and post-natal massage. She also works with those in recovery from cancer, stroke, frequent migraines, TMJ syndrome, frozen shoulder, lower back pain, plantar fasciitis, and recent surgery. The Connect Method stands strong as a complete form of manual therapy, and also serves to facilitate and maintain chiropractic, acupuncture and other medical treatments. Series of extended sessions are available for deep, fully responsive work; brief soft tissue release sessions are available as a complement to chiropractic care. Conveniently located in West Chelsea, close to Equinox, Chelsea Piers, and High Line Park, Julie shares practice space with a chiropractor and two acupuncturists in a full-service, luxury building. She and her fellow practitioners offer a Rapid Results Program, combining brief, frequent acupuncture, chiropractic and manual therapy sessions over the course of a month. Our focus is to facilitate a quick and effective way to re-educate your nervous system to get you out of pain for good!Julie understands that pain can be a result of many factors, and is here to compassionately and skillfully guide you through it. All sessions include time for conversation and an updated treatment plan, focused on keeping your unique self in top form. Julie is also a gifted educator, teaching fellow bodywork professionals updated manual therapy techniques and crucial concepts of Pain Science. Group classes in movement re-education and refinement, integrating The Feldenkrais Method, are also offered.
