Some responsibilities of an Associate Scientist include working on the development of a vaccine against viral diseases that are currently affecting the swine industry on a global basis. Some aspects of the projects are assay development/validation, accurate report writing, sample testing and laboratory experiments involving virus growth, virus inactivation, virus titration and cell culture. All activities are performed in accordance with GLP regulations.
