As a Business Unit Director of Lindström Groups native city I had the P&L responsibility of our biggest market with turnover of 40+ million euros. With more than 200 professionals working in the unit, we provide excellent customer experience within our service and value chain: sales and key accounts, production, distribution and back office.I started an ongoing cultural change process witch will lead us to a customer driven organisation. The changes made have given boost to sales, recording all time sales, TO and profit highs.

In addition to the duties of Business Unit Director I serve as the Director of Corporate Customers and Customer Experience in Finland. We serve our biggest Corporate Customers through the dedication of five customer driven teams.

As a head of our country organization my job was to oversee all operations from sales to medical care and accounting. My key objective was in developing and executing our strategy in sales, generate revenue and expand our customer base.

I was in charge of a team with three Medical Directors and 11 Medical Experts who were all specialized in insurance medicine along with their clinical expertise. Our main goal was to serve and develop expenditure management in processes of risk selection and claim service. My key objective was in changing our model of leadership from traditional, head physician based lead to a more modern participatory leadership. From April 2014 till February 2015 I was also in charge of three Account managers, two Rehabilitation Managers and eight Case Managers.

I acted as a superior to five Claim Service Managers and three Account Managers. My department had a total of 96 employees who worked with several insurance products in four different claim service processes. In the year 2013 I was successfully responsible for various changes in our claims services, for example the launch of our own hospital care unit 'Omasairaala' and a new corporate customers' telephone service which both became a significant part of our claims service and helped in improving our customer satisfaction as Pohjola ranked on top of the branch in corporate customers’ client service (2013 EPSI –rating). Along with my duties I substituted the vice president of our development department from December 2012 till January 2013.

I was responsible for the claim and customer service of our Health insurance claims in a team with 10 to 18 claim handlers and a claims expert. As our corporative Health insurance product line was still developing I was actively involved with the development and the sales of the products. In four years I annually raised the efficiency and job satisfaction of our team and the grades of my work as a superior became one of the highest in Pohjola. The results were achieved by giving specific roles to all team members and developing their confidence within those roles.

As a sales and marketing manager, I acted on client accounts of different sports leagues and federations. My key objective was to negotiate inclusive agreements with insurance and marketing cooperation to optimize our Claims ratio within different sports insurances and to maximize our brand exposure with marketing in sports. We were successful in both, having a record year in both income and brand exposure in 2007. Along with negotiating I also improved my presentation skills and represented Pohjola in seminars, working committees and in media, including national television.
