I was selected as a LiTD fellow for my 1L summer. I split my time between a firm and a technology company. At the firm, I worked on patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation matters. At the company, I worked with in-house general counsel on a broad range of matters.

Working on the SAGE (Social Addictive Gameful Engineering) project under Columbia University's Programming Systems Lab, led by Professor Gail Kaiser. My team is building a collaborative game-based learning and assessment system that infuses computational thinking in grade 6-8 curricula.

Used natural language processing to analyze archives regarding the homophily effect, and successfully used the findings to program animations and visuals that will be displayed inside the interior of the Homophily exhibit, an exhibit focusing on the origin of homophily and its bias as an algorithm in network science. Exhibit opened in September 2019 at the Chicago Cultural CenterProgrammed Arduinos to create animations for the 5 walls that form the exterior of the exhibit

Collaborated with a team of peers to design and implement a web application using Java, JavaScript, HTML and CSS over the course of 10 weeks, leveraging various Google Cloud Platform APIs, including App Engine and Datastore.Practiced industry best practices such as: contributing to open source software using Git and GitHub, conducting code reviews with/for teammates, extending an existing codebase, participating in distributed development, designing new components and interfaces and leading them to completion.
