Within this period, I have worked on various design and Waste water modelling project.Experience in Drainage Design:Colombo Port City Development Project:The Project requires to develop new wet utility network that will collate the estimated and forecasted information of the development and the requirements for future networks and infrastructure on its service.• Involved in optimizing the hydraulics viz. pipe diameter, pipe slope, velocity of the gravity network using “Bentley StormCad” • Gully Spacing Calculation • Channel Drain Design Calculation• Oil interceptor Design Calculation• Inter-disciplinary Co-ordinationExposure to UK Specifications such as Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) HD 33/16 for Gully Spacing Calculation, BSEN 858-1:2002 and EN 858-2:2003 for Separator systems for light liquids (e.g. oil and petrol) in Storm Water Drainage.Experience in Wastewater Modelling: Water Leith UID Scheme:• Assisted in solution development in wastewater network modelling. The Project involved updating an existing model with survey data near overflows and developing solutions to address aesthetic drivers.FRM Section 16 Model Build:• Model build and calibration process for wastewater Network modelling. The Project involved building new 1D model for eight sub-catchments based on the GIS data and Surveyed Data obtained in the software “Info works ICM 6.5”.
