I am an experienced Operations Manager with a focus on climate change initiatives, Education for Sustainable Development and environmental sustainability. I led the operations of Green Growth Africa's programs and initiatives, collaborating with program leads on impactful initiatives, and engaging in partnership development. My goal is to drive positive change by identifying and advocating for actions that lower emissions in leading greenhouse gas emitting countries and support the Paris Agreement.Previously as a Program Coordinator at Green Growth Hub | #GreenGrowthAfrica, I coordinated the EcoHeroes Initiative, organizing events and establishing environmental clubs in secondary schools across Africa. I facilitated international knowledge sharing workshops and worked closely with stakeholders to ensure the success of the programs. I also collaborated with the Executive Director on funding proposals and technical report writing.In my role as Country Manager at Climate Scorecard, I conduct research on various climate related topics. I also compile monthly reports on climate change mitigation efforts in Nigeria, contributing to global efforts to combat climate change. I possess strong skills in search engine optimization (SEO), research, and content writing, which enable me to effectively communicate complex environmental issues and promote sustainable practices.Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in people management, presentation skills, and Microsoft PowerPoint. I have a proven track record of effectively coordinating activities with remote volunteers, conducting impact evaluations, and fostering partnerships to drive environmental sustainability.In addition to my professional experience, I hold a B.A. in History and International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University and recently completed the Women Techsters Fellowship Class of 2023, specializing in frontend development.
