I have partnered with the Bespoke Solutions team as I am passionate about sharing my experience to help the next generation of brewers across all aspects of their businesses. Getting things right from the start is essential, and I thoroughly enjoy connecting with brewers to walk them through key decisions like brew length, vessel config, heating method, cellar sizing and more.

It's not every day you get the chance to brew a beer for Bob Hawke. So when Dave and Nathan (founders of Hawke's Brewing Co.) asked me to do just that, it was a no-brainer. I put the pilot brew for our first beer in tank during the Boxing Day Test in 2016, then stood beside Hawkie and the boys when we launched the company a few months later. The next 4 years I was working with the team writing the recipes and overseeing the contract brewing of our core range – Hawke's Lager, Hawke's Patio Pale, Hawke's Underdog Session Ale and Hawke's Opener IPA. In late 2020 we welcomed the accomplished and talented Brodie French to the team to run brewing operations and manage installation of our Bespoke 35HL production brewery in Marrickville, Sydney. I have now stepped into an advisory board role and am incredibly proud of the passion and dedication the entire team has to the long term success of Hawke's Brewing Co. We've recently had to say farewell to Bob, but the brewery has cemented our ability to work with Landcare Australia., to keep Hawke's legacy living, and give back to the core of this country we all deeply cherish.

The Grain Keeper is my alter ego - the beer-loving side that's built on the best part of my 14 years in the brewing industry. The Grain Keeper is available for a variety of short-term consultancy services across a range of brewing specifics.• Concepts and business plans• Layouts, design, installation and commissioning• Brewing processes, best practice and standard operating procedures• Beer judging, feedback and sensory training• Recipe development, branding and beer list creation.

I joined the team at Bintani Australia at the end of 2016, as the Head of Sales, Products and Development. It's a fantastic family business and the role has enabled me to engage with brewers across Australia and New Zealand, helping them innovate and develop their technical skills as the industry continues to grow. Bintani is the leading ingredient supplier to the brewing industry and our team pride ourselves on our knowledge, the quality of our products and the friendly service to our customers who make this industry a pleasure to work in.
