DIT officers at overseas posts support UK companies and institutions to internationalise in order to generate revenue to the British economy.Main duties:- To conduct research and reporting on routes to market, key contacts and potential partners for UK companies and institutions;- To organise visits and events for companies coming to Brazil to follow up on the research reports they have commissioned, including briefings and meetings with potential partners and key industry bodies;- To assist with administrative arrangements for missions (inward and outward), trade fairs and seminars, involving, when necessary, attendance at official functions;- To manage the stakeholders database;- To arrange BDM and Sector Managers’ meetings/initiative visiting programmes and organise visit programmes when required;- To provide sectoral assistance in meetings with government bodies;- To assist in the identification of export opportunities for UK companies in the Brazilian market.
