Joseph Ali VaiknessDallas-Fort Worth-based musician, audio engineer, and educator with a passion for music and empowering students to grow through creative expression. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Texas, earning a BS with a unique combination of studies in psychology, philosophy, and business. I am also a certified Audio Engineer (RRFC).Currently, I work as a vocal, guitar, and bass instructor at School of Rock, where I support young musicians in developing their technical and performance skills. In addition, I’m a studio assistant at Luminous Sound Recording Studios and perform live across the DFW Metroplex. As a multi-instrumentalist, I bring skills in songwriting, tracking, production, mixing, mastering, and performance.My diverse background includes session musician and audio engineering experience across genres, from Hip-Hop to Classical, and I have performed as a vocalist, guitarist, bassist, and drummer for audiences large and small.With 5+ years of experience teaching a wide range of subjects—including Music, Math, English, Computer Science, Physical Fitness, and Nutrition—and 7+ years in child and young adult supervision, I am dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment that nurtures each student’s growth in their chosen field and as individuals.
