About Jonathan Van Alteren

I'd love to get to know you and explore opportunities for helping each other, so feel free to send me a message or invitation to connect. After many years of experience in software development and my personal journey to a sustainable lifestyle, I decided that I also want to contribute professionally to a better world. Unfortunately, even today, a lot of time, energy and virtual resources are still being wasted in the world of software.Humanity has created a society at a scale that needs the support of computer and software technology to sustain itself. I believe that the social and environmental challenges we face require complex, organic and autonomous solutions. Current ways of working too often result in artificial software solutions that are unsustainable because of high maintenance costs and the eventual need to be replaced.Object Guild believes in human software. Software that understands the language of the organization, instead of the other way around. Programs where real stories on the workplace and customer experiences are leading. We help purpose-driven organizations with diverse challenges, but one thing is the same in all of our projects, human beings are always at the heart of our approach.

  • Straalhelder
    Sustainable Renovation Consultant
    Straalhelder Jan 2017 - Apr 2019
    Amsterdam, Netherlands
