CurrentAs AMS’s latest assessor for commercial Glass Shops. This exciting position allows me to travel the west division and evaluate glass shops adhere to OSHA safety regulations and uphold a quality management system ensure quality and safe glazing installations for the public’s use. Evaluations are conducted annually virtually as well as in person visits to the glass shop’s office and job sites. After evaluation AMS headquarters certifies glass shops with the NACC certificate (North American Contractor Certification). I also hold AGMT glazing tests for technicians to be certified in their trade. This also assists the process for union apprentices journey out. Commercial glazing is an exciting trade that includes exterior curtain wall, storefront, windows, glass conference rooms, glass pool gate railings, bi-folding glass partitions, showers, fitness mirrors and more!
