As a project evaluation research assistant at the World Bank Group and the Global Environmental Facility, I analyzed the GEF’s projects in Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Peru to understand the socioeconomic benefits of the environmental projects in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and South America. The findings will be included in an upcoming book analyzing the socioeconomic benefits of such projects and the overall realization of the GEF's goals.

As a member of the geoParsing team, I researched and analyzed Russian activity across the globe, specifically Ukraine, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, and Sudan, using geospatial intelligence and published news articles in Russian, French, and English languages. The Tearline publications “The Environmental Impact of Russian Mining in the Central African Republic” and the “Environmental Effect of Coal Mine Deterioration in Eastern Ukraine” I coauthored in collaboration with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) regarding Russian mining activity in the Central African Republic and the environmental effects of their mining processes and the impact Ukraine coal mine deterioration in the Donbas region has on the surrounding environment and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

As a College Advising Intern in the College Prep Club for the Future Leader Exchange program for Ukrainian students (FLEX Ukraine), I assisted Ukrainian exchange students in American high schools in developing their college lists, managing their application process, and preparing for interviews. In addition to continuing to help with their college application processes, I assumed the Public Speaking Skills role to further assist students in their research and presentation skills in a professional setting and held monthly seminars to assist students with the transition to college and the professional world.

I quality assessed the Russian translation of research papers, including the Silk Road Diplomacy report (2019) and Corridors of Power report (2021), translated documents originally written in Russian, and contributed to research tracking democratic development and civil society in Eastern Europe and Eurasia (Belarus, Armenia, Serbia, Georgia).

I helped lead the Russian Conversation Hours for the intermediate level. Tasks included lesson planning, presenting, and teaching Russian vocabulary and culture.
