As a staff attorney at Church World Service, I help clients navigate the complex and ever-changing immigration system in the United States. I have a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law, and I am a member of the Florida Bar. I have gained valuable experience working as a legal extern and a summer intern at Lutheran Services Florida, a nonprofit organization that serves refugees, asylees, and other vulnerable populations. I honed my expertise at Dubrule & Nowel, where we achieved successful outcomes for clients seeking immigration relief. I have strong skills in legal writing, intercultural communication, and cultural awareness, which enable me to effectively advocate for and support my clients. I am passionate about global issues, human rights, and social justice, and I have a bachelor's degree in International & Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I also completed leadership challenges at UNCG, which enhanced my global leadership skills and understanding of the responsibilities of global citizenship. I speak Spanish, which allows me to better communicate with diverse clients.
