I founded and lead a transitional program for 18-21 year old students with qualifying health and intellectual disabilities. I manage a caseload of 11-20 students. I lead IEP team meetings, draft IEPs, and write progress reports. I teach all life skills subjects in a self-contained classroom, managing support staff and collaborating with related service providers including PT, OT, and Speech. I plan and lead community-based outings, collaborate in finding job shadow opportunities, collaborate on budgeting, and build other aspects of transitional programming.
