Joined the newly appointed Head of Private Equity in establishing the new governance, technology and operations infrastructure for Private Equity. ✅Launched two new trading funds in India under the FII license and set up infrastructure for Reinsurance.✅Set up independent portfolio valuations that opened up a new investor class (profiled in FT & WSJ).✅Oversaw prime brokerage and exchange relationships. Signed on new brokers and negotiated rates.

I leveraged years of working in Technology to generate additional revenue for the Investment Bank by evaluating and introducing new products and distribution channels.✅Delivered 30+ new products and $70M in new revenue to the structured products and other desks.✅Directed new product development/new business initiatives delivered through Private Wealth Management, I-Bank and third-party platforms. ✅Led 20+ cross-functional teams in strategic planning, roadmap development, resource requirements & availability, financial planning & budgeting, and execution.

I joined the Global Equities & Equity Derivates IB-Tech (Investment Bank Technology) organization to expand my Fixed Income trading expertise to include equities and equity derivatives. My first business user was ERO (Equities Risk Office), with the focus on trading systems, risk and VaR. Later, I became a member of the North America Leadership Team and worked on program trading systems.✅Led the integration of the trillion-dollar Equity Derivative Portfolio into the Value-at-Risk Monte Carlo simulation platform, earning “best practice” status by the Investment Bank’s Corporate Credit Committee.✅Transformed the enterprise Credit Risk landscape while reducing the program budget by $4.5M annually.✅Led multi-million-dollar implementation of Program Trading Platform.

Leveraged my understanding of Fixed Income markets into supporting Fixed Income systems at Prudential Securities, Inc. Prudential Securities was later merged into Wachovia Securities and then into Wells Fargo Securities.✅Led the Fixed Income Portfolio Modeler team through full project life cycle. The system created fixed income portfolios and was used by 6500 Prudential brokers.

During my last semester at NYU, an internationally known economist Dr. Lacy H. Hunt hired me as his research assistant at HSBC Markets, Inc. The Economics department produced research on macroeconomic indicators driving Fixed Income markets. ✅Conducted statistical analysis and wrote commentary on economic indicators published on Bloomberg and in HSBC research publications.
