Jennifer (Voyles) Frawley, CAE, IOM, is the Director of Affiliate Relations at the American Optometric Association (AOA) and is the Executive Director of the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA). She has worked in the not-for-profit arena for 25 years, beginning her association career at Community Bankers Association of Illinois (CBAI) in Springfield. Prior to joining AOA and AOSA, she worked at the Missouri Society of CPAs (MOCPA) for over 11 years in several areas of association management including membership marketing, member services, chapter relations, professional development, curriculum development, event planning and more. Jennifer earned her B.S. in public relations from Illinois State University, Normal, IL and a M.A. in media communications from Webster University, St. Louis, MO. She is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organization Management at the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ and earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in July 2005 through the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) . Jennifer is a member of ASAE and the St. Louis Society of Association Executives (SLSAE). She served as president of SLSAE in 2009-2010. She and the entire AOA team, along with Dovetail, an integrated marketing agency (consultant), won an ASAE Gold Circle Award in 2019 for the membership recruitment campaign, "United in Possibilities."
