I’m an entrepreneurial leader with extensive experience in Software Development Management, Product Management, and Client Engagement. I build great partnerships with cross-functional departments, such as sales and support teams, as well as third party vendors. I enjoy working directly with external customers in Technical Sales and Partner Management roles.I’m skilled at forming high-functioning teams, and I’m highly effective at improving and transforming team performance. As a leader, I like to listen, empathize and put my team members at ease even in the toughest situations. I love to immerse myself into details and gain the knowledge required to be an effective and trustworthy project manager. I believe a successful team involves a strong desire for accomplishment, great collaboration, and giving proper credit and recognition. I am comfortable using my technical background to help my team outside of project management. A typical day for me can include whiteboarding ideas with team members, meeting clients, writing Jira tickets, reviewing pull requests, researching a system alert, and even deploying a production release. My technical background includes: Agile project management using Scrum and Kanban (Jira Software, Pivotal Tracker), Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile Apps (iOS and Android), Real-time Streaming video, WebRTC, Application Software, Enterprise Software, Databases (MySQL), Back-End Systems, API and Third-Party Integrations. I also have a working understanding of Hardware and Firmware and I’ve built test automation software for manufacturing.I thrive on experienced based learning and challenge myself to learn new things. In my spare time I do home remodeling projects, modify and repair motor vehicles, and experiment with home automation (HomeKit). I also volunteer as a program manager and driving instructor/mentor for the local chapter of the BMW Car Club of America.
