I'm a PhD candidate in Comparative Politics of the Middle East, at Lund University, working on feminist movements and activism, mediatized/performed gender and gender politics, particularly in Egypt, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia. I have previously taught as an adjunct lecturer at Stockholm University, where I also worked as Director of Studies for Middle Eastern Studies, and have a BA and MA in Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures, as well as an MPhil in Gender Studies from the University of Cambridge.
