I have over 23 years of experience in the manufacturing field. During this time, I lead a team of setup technicians to help the company grow to what it is today. I developed exceptional trouble shooting skills and a great attention to detail. I became a department scheduler which consisted of scheduling work for 18 machines. I did this for 10 years on top of leading a team of setup technicians to keep production going and keep efficiencies high. I worked closely with the maintenance team and participated with preventative maintenance. With my experience and great attention to detail I created detailed process work instructions for all the machine setup procedures to develop a documented training process. Over the past two years I have transitioned into a control's technician position. I have gone back to school to aid in my career advancement. Having such a long, involved role in manufacturing has really helped speed up my progress. As I learn material in school, I can use it immediately in the field so retaining material is much easier. I have become proficient with the use of Rockwell's Studio 5000, RSLogix500, FactoryTalk HMI, Automation Direct's Productivity Suite 2000, and Siemens TIA software. I have used AutoCAD to create and update electrical drawings for machine upgrades and improvements. I am extremely proud of my progress to this point and have made numerous machinery upgrades and advancement to automate processes to take away responsibilities of the operators.
