I built Eight Installations as a business to manage the Service, Delivery, Installation, Storage and Recycling, of refrigerated cabinets across the UK. Eight Installations changed the industry during its time. The challenges were vast, not only was this a new company growing in a very competitive market, Covid hit early on. We were able to position ourselves around quality and reliability, surviving through the hard times. Our team galvanised as a result and the model was not only profitable it was desirable. In Q2 2021 Eight Installation was sold, bring a handover chapter to this story. Transitioning the operation and relationships, protecting staff and customers alike was also a great challenge. I am extremely proud of what I created and thank everyone involved in keeping that business great.

Working within the Space Range and Merchandising department at Welwyn Garden City. Initial key focus was internal department relationships. Working with cross functional team to deliver change and land large new initiatives in store. Key Highlights for me. Delivering the first Multi Channel Retail experience into stores across Hard-lines. Supporting the whole section of General merchandising with Viewpoint on a number of occasions, implementing changes to day to day working for the team and department. Managing the Merchandising centre as well as the day job, making logistical improvements and supporting the implementation of visual merchandising, a big step change for the business.A very challenging and rewarding time spent with Tesco. Working with people at all work levels and delivering real change into stores.

To project manage shelving installations for Versatile Fittings, closely monitoring the projects GP to ensure maximum profit. Creating and maintaining good working relationships with Retailers, Main Contractors and Fitting companies. Setting in place a detailed, phasing program for every step of the process. Honing my knowledge and understanding of an ever changing environment, to ensure every projects success. Directly managing Fitting teams and trouble shooting projected issues to maximise time spent on every stage.
