I have over 40 years of print, web and broadcast experience. Those years includes extensive work as a producer for daily award winning consumer investigative unit, managing the largest and longest running continuous broadcast investigative team in Southern California. The subject matter was a range of subjects. Environmental issues throughout the west primarily San Diego , stories on medical fraud including stem cell and cancer treatments, abuse of animals, numerous criminal justice elements with a focus on law enforcement agencies, criminal defense, white collar crime and trafficking in humans, local politics exposes and election coverage including one of the first fact-checking units at a local level. Being in San Diego I also did a great number of stories on the military; both complimentary and critical. Numerous exposes on hate crimes and hate groups in the region; including white supremacists including WAR, Klan as well as border militia.

After 40 plus years I have remained active in journalism, with a wide range of contacts in various sectors. People still come to me with story ideas and I try to help place potential stories with a number of local media outlets. For the most part, I send tips with information forward but sometimes I produce stories. I also write articles for two non-profits I volunteer for--Californians Aware and the Bilateral Safety Corridor Coalition. Calaware is oriented towards open government, monitoring public meeting to see they follow state laws and more. BSCC does work in anti human trafficking, both sex and labor. I was a founding member of both organizations.
