The assignment included the establishment of the new JV and the transition and integration of the IT services and organisation from the incumbent organisation to the JV. The JV ultimately provided IT services to 6500+ users in the JV and partner companies. Set up of a Shared Services IT Services and Operations organization of 120 in-house personnel plus suppliers providing 24*7*365 support with a focus on the Site Assurance Management (SAM) team of 12. SAM were accountable for the delivery of IT Services to the venture, including matrix management of in-house and supplier Networks, Server and EUC technical teams. Management of a $15m+ IT Infrastructure and Facilities programme to construct data centres, install IT infrastructure and fit out offices to enable NCPOC to expand its in-country presences to 1000+ personnel. Steering of Infrastructure and Services transformation programme, $15m per annum 20 Shell project managers. Design, implementation, management and improvement of best practice processes and tools (ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001) used across the venture, including transition from existing ITSM tool, Topdesk, to HP Service Manager. Management of the Business/IT relationship including set-up of Business/IT demand planning and performance review forums. Transition of business functions including HR, Corporate Services and HSSE from incumbent organisation to JV. Strategy development and implementation, financial management ($45m p.a), risk management, BCP/DR. Technology implementation, transition and management including Windows stack, Citrix, VMware, NetApps, HP, Cisco, Tandberg, SAP MM, Pi, Livelink, TETRA, VSAT. -
