Knight-Swift Transportation – Senior National Account Manager
CurrentResponsible for managing Walmart and Sam’s accounts, one of the largest revenue accounts in the company. The goal is to drive revenue and margin improvements. Daily responsibility includes communication with the customer team, approximately 10 individuals. Communication relates to pricing, metric updates, reviews, new business development, problem-solving, and daily issues. Account revenue has increased from $50m to over $65m under my leadership. The account was nominated for “Carrier of the Year” in 2022, a tremendous acknowledgment. Work with Knight executives, General Manager, and Co-founder, on pricing and account growth strategies. Maintain focus on key performance indicators, reports, metrics, and methods for ongoing measurement of customer performance and departmental success. Work cross-functionally with the asset group, pricing division, and tracking team to provide superior customer service. Monitor and trace shipments from pick up to delivery, proactively notifying the customer of service issues, research, and code all applicable service failures for further analysisUtilize Microsoft Power BI to analyze metrics and develop action plans, also use Knights proprietary software package.
