James has 20 years of experience in software and network engineering in Australia and the US. Prior to joining WooliesX, James was at Apple in Cupertino where he was responsible for the software engineering teams that developed productivity apps, the device setup experience and data privacy systems. He has also spent time at Amazon working on applying machine learning to network monitoring at a massive, global scale. Upon returning to Sydney in 2019 he joined CBA to build the engineering teams in the bank's venture scaler, x15ventures, and then held the role of Distinguished Engineer in Retail Banking Services.
