We have built 3 platforms for monitoring and analyzing all aspects of Paid, Earned, Shared and Owned (PESO) media, which are used by some of the most recognizable brands in the world, including Intel, HP, RedBull and many others. I also oversee the Information Technology group and carry responsibility for evaluating and negotiating all services contracts W2O has with outside organizations. In my first year of service we've cut the firm's annual costs by over $1 Million in contract and services renegotiations and reductions - with no staff reductions. We have also made significant improvements to IT in the enterprise, and turned it into a true inwardly facing services organization which is a joy to work with.

MyEdu’s free tools and rich academic data have been used by millions of students to graduate in less time and reduce the cost of earning their degree. The MyEdu Student Profile allows students to visually showcase their coursework, skills, talents and experiences. MyEdu for Employers brings students and employers together on a common platform, extending MyEdu’s mission to maximize each student’s return on education by improving the job placement process. MyEdu is currently used by millions of students at over 800 campuses nationwide and has been endorsed by major higher education institutions. In December of 2013 MyEdu was acquired by Blackboard.In co-founding MyEdu, I built the information services team that runs the largest education data warehouse in the world. We architected the foundational systems that drive automated data capture, data integrity, and real-time service delivery for over a million MyEdu users.I am currently leading a new team to create and implement MyEdu's content strategy to open a new channel of engagement with our members.• Designed and developed the information backbone behind MyEdu • Created the company’s connector management system that provides continuous updates of courses, schedules and professors for over 800 colleges and universities • Designed and maintain the company’s cloud computing infrastructure, including a high availability network structure and redundant off-site backup systems • Defined and provide ongoing management of MyEdu’s data acquisition process

As one of the very first ed-tech companies, Pick-A-Prof was a socio-academic service for college students, designed to aide their decisions when choosing professors and classes. Pick-A-Prof's services were available at over 800 colleges and universities across the U.S., allowing students to find grade histories, plan their schedules, share professor reviews, and a utilize one of the first textbook price comparison and exchange engines.As a co-founder of Pick-A-Prof, John architected the data warehouse, and with a dedicated team designed and built the products, network, database, and IT infrastructure that led to years of success.• Designed the company’s flexible, scalable database system which grew to over 700 databases; • Architected the production environment for one of the early high-availability systems in the education market;• Laid the foundation for the original data acquisition method; • Led the IT and Customer Services teams throughout the company’s growth;• Fostered strategic relationships with eCampus, Barnes & Noble and others.
