Upon earning my AAB from Lake Michigan College, I began my IT career in K12 education. I immediately developed a reputation for rapid response and resolution by our clients and thorough preventative maintenance and root cause analysis by my colleagues. While supporting our end-users, I took the opportunity to become familiar with our infrastructure. This allowed me to provide System and Network Adminstration services as needed to meet demands. In addition, I provided training as new colleagues joined our team.After five years in K12 IT, I decided to expand my horizons. I accepted a two year term position supporting Identity and Access Management in Higher Education. This was an amazing experience which provided the motivation to learn middleware development in order to better provide tier II support for our team of developers.Unfortunately this opportunity aligned with many changes in my personal life. And due to my use of personal time, I was not hired on permanently. Yet it sparked a desire to understand, simplify, automate, and optimize processes. In addition, I learned to channel my focus by ascertaining, and to some degree interrogating, the root need, then analyzing the added value of a proposed solution; keeping it as simple as possible, but no simpler.Through a lead I, once again, expanded my horizon to the field of manufacturing. I've been working as an IT Administrator for over a year now. The culmination of all my experience and education has led me to excel in the service I provide. We define projects with aggressive deadlines, and often deliver. This was a difficult year for the world, and with it came a shift in focus and priorities. To which, we adapted rapidly and gracefully. While fairly green in this industry, I take pride in the advise and assistance I provide when my colleagues reach out or I observe their perplexity. I find myself inspired by our possibilities and driven by our accomplishments. Innovation is deriving the use from your muse.
