About John Devonshire

I believe that communication is key. Helping clients is about more than providing answers to questions - it is about understanding each client, what they are trying to do, and the best way to achieve their objectives. Good communication is about good listening and providing timely, accurate information. It is also about making and keeping committments to your clients, and notifying them when things change. Being a good leader means creating an environment that fosters these actions. I have been working closely with clients for 30 years, and understand how each client is different. I have implemented ways to make it easier for them to communicate with us, and ways for us to communicate more effectively with them. We have a number of long term clients who value us as more than just a vendor, but as a trusted partner in helping them grow and succeed.Providing clients with great service means building a great team. It is important that they have the opportunity to grow professionally, and to become educated on the client base, the technology, and new trends that can shape the industry. We have built a strong culture, and the best testament to this is the low turnover rates of staff we've experienced.Professionally, I have had an impact on all aspects of the organizations I've worked for. I have written documentation and software code, trained staff and clients, worked on our product roadmap, worked with marketing in developing materials, assisted in the sales process, attended trade shows, costed and managed projects, conducted user group meetings and acted as a guest speaker at different events.
