European business operating in more than 20 countries, across many product segments and with a turnover of ca 2 bln Euros.• Leading the development of strategy and long term financial planning, providing clear strategic roles throughout the country / product portfolio and subsequent resource allocation. • Translating strategic plan into operational targets for countries and innovations. • Analysis of business performance within the financial year, understanding of significant variances and recommendations for corrective action.• Ensuring that business cases behind innovations are value creating, realistic and risks are managed.• Innovation portfolio reviews encompassing business cases, probabilistic sensitivity analysis and assessment of strategic fit.• Budget control and optimisation of regional marketing and development expenditure across multiple country locations.• Stewardship of category board including risk management and policy compliance.

Working in the corporate centre for the European foods business and reporting directly to the regional SVP Finance.
