Attention to detail and maintaining accuracy of data were critical to this role, as an inaccurate keystroke could have led to a delay in someone's release from jail, adding inaccurate charges, causing the case file to be misplaced, or perhaps worse. I would find errors (and usually the correct solutions) often enough that one supervisor told me she hated.

While serving as a lower enlisted my MOS was "Light Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic." However, my superiors tasked me as the IASO, or Internet Assurance Security Officer, because I was the most tech savvy in our unit. This position was filled by NCOs and Officers in other units.
