Managed projects tied to Wachovia’s $25 Billion merger with World Savings Bank as Program Manager for the Western eCommerce division. Provided program governance and direction to staff engaged in merger activities.• Forged trusting and influential relationships with Wachovia peers and executives. Acted as liaison between leaders in both companies to overcome sensitive integration hurdles, while laying the foundation for partnering on merger and future projects.• Managed the World Savings web site migration of 400+ static and dynamic pages to Wachovia’s established content management platform. Involving development, testing, change management, and release this was a significant milestone in the overall integration of the two companies’ online presence.

Led numerous large, complex, highly visible projects for the eCommerce division and overall enterprise. Managed all aspects of project success including scope, financials, deliverables, and reporting. Fostered a collaborative environment, applied communication tools, and worked closely with managers throughout project lifecycles.• Managed the Online Banking (OLB) upgrade program, an implementation of over $2 Million. The comprehensive upgrade improved OLB transaction times by 60%, was completed on time and on-budget. The program included changes to the applications, server platform, and security design.• Ensured all levels of project teams were engaged and focused on meeting deliverables and deadlines. When necessary, daily scrums were held to keep projects on-track. Interacted daily with team members, listening, and solving problems on-the-spot.

Led Sun Professional Services projects with clients in the Western U.S. Managed all aspects of project delivery including controlling scope, project-related communication, people and task scheduling, issue management, financial and status reporting, and project deliverables.• Managed implementations of Sun E10K and SunFire enterprise servers and associated infrastructure, providing clients with high-end complex computing platforms. Projects consisted of solutions valued from $500K to over $1.5M in product and services.• Coordinated the successful implementation of a Storage Area Network for Computer Science Corporation’s Oracle 11i migration lab. The solution, valued at over $450K delivered a high availability computing environment that included 7 hosts sharing over 640GB of storage.• Conducted gap analysis reports comparing people and process effects on mission-critical system availability, measured against service levels. Clients included Boeing, PG&E, and Sun Microsystems.

Responsible for managing projects within the company’s data center environment. Implemented and tested production-ready systems, coordinated with Helpdesks, trained support staff, and created support documentation to meet client Service Level Agreement (SLA) criteria.• Managed successful Year 2000 compliance efforts for the data center including 50 UNIX and NT production servers, all network equipment, and over 600 desktops. The project scope also included BMC Patrol servers, HP OpenView hosts, and over 200 managed nodes.• Supervised the implementation of Oracle database servers for CSAA. Projects included a Sagent data warehouse system, an ADP payroll solution, and a web-based online travel system.

Delivered project management and technical support for client projects located in North American and United Kingdom locations.• Managed the upgrade of over 20 Novell NetWare servers and 1000+ desktops to NetWare 4.11 for the U.K. offices of an international engineering firm. Successfully completed the migration within the projected 4-month schedule.• Reduced the delivery time of monthly performance reports for client executives from 2 weeks to 2 days. Managed development of the automated report generation and delivery processes.• Managed the design and implementation of SAP remote systems monitoring and management for a Vancouver based company. The tools, processes and procedures developed were used by the client support team to deliver 24x7 availability and support across 3 data centers.
