Led efforts to expand military relationships for the Georgia Regents University, Georgia Regents Health System (Medical Center, Children’s Medical Center, and Medical Associates) identifying opportunities to connect the enterprise’s resources to military needs. He also developed strategies in support of our military veterans and their families to increase access to and obtain their college level education.

As a member of the President’s Cabinet, led the development of the Campus Facility Master Plan, assisted in identifying strategic goals for university for the next 10 - 20 years, developed strategic plans focused on the long range priorities of the university for facilities, assisted in developing military education outreach strategy and strategic communications programs. Also assisted in the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of public relations activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the university

Commanding General of the Signal Center (8,000 people) and installation (25,000 people) conducting communications training, operational and joint missions in support of all military services and the world wide military operations. Responsible for training, long range planning, doctrine development, force management of the Signal Regiment including active, national guard, and reserve signal soldiers. Led 40 leadership workshops per year, all ranks. Oversaw the training of over 20,000 military people from all services in the Communications and information technology disciplines.
