In order to gain trust, I created open lines of communication, circulated and solicited feedback on my ideas, gaining buy in and support. Then, I worked with various groups to locate and categorize all of the business data, hardware, and software. A detailed inventory allowed us to make better business decisions, save money, and reduce risk.+ Developed Schireson’s enterprise technology strategy focusing on how to add value to the company. This entails working with Legal & Compliance on regulation and how it affects IT, partnering with Finance on how and where money is spent, engaging with staff to listen to their needs, and ensuring those needs are met and exceeded. + Created a robust and secure network connecting five geographically dispersed offices. Prior to this initiative, there was no perimeter protection or monitoring, and collaboration was difficult. With a fully interconnected network, managing permissions, facilitating technical support, and leveraging tools across offices and certifying data is now possible. + Reexamined Schireson's approach to office space. With the specific team in mind, we’re planning for collaboration, sound engineering, ergonomic innovation, and spatial design. After months of cultivating the global development, infrastructure and solutions teams to ensure support for this massive change, policies and procedures were implemented, as well as a cultural shift in ABCorp’s approach to delivering products and solutions. + Transformed the global infrastructure from various domains, multiple disparate systems and an unsecure perimeter to a single domain within a secure, global MPLS, allowing ABCorp to move toward a platform of solutions, reducing headcount and exposure to security threats.+ Headed the procurement and implementation team for the replacement and upgrade of a global ERP system. This change allowed for common metrics across the business and realized increased operational efficiencies of 150%.+ Introduced consumer-level tools to supplement ABCorp’s product offering. This reduced in-house development and offered a change in culture.+ Created a customer facing presence by offering a “store front” for ordering and “customer portal” for reports and other tracking access resulting in increased traffic and improved feedback from customers. + Introduced “Lean Methodology” for development, drastically reducing noise around the development roadmap.
