Daily tasks include managing social channels, updating digital display content, and managing the Washkewicz College of Engineering website. A major project undertaken by my team was the transition to our new website, which we led for the entirety of the college.

The Nature Specialist plans and executes the nature program at Hiram House Camp. Through educational programming, campers learn respect for the outdoors and the risks that come with it. Safe use of tools and outdoor skills are also taught, including knife and fire safety, cooking, and even outdoor science experiments! As this role involves supervising campers in situations with an elevated risk level, training is essential. Basic first aid, conflict resolution, and childcare are all important parts of this job. The nature specialist lives at camp for the duration of the overnight program, and as such is on call in situations ranging from filling in as a substitute counselor, to helping parents move in, to assisting in emergency response in extreme cases.

The Field Rep is the backbone of the campaign. Without them, no doors are knocked, no phones are called, and no friends are recruited. I did all of this and more, going on to be recognized at the end of the campaign for my work.
