Medical guidance for non brain dead donors which family has chosen to withdraw life sustaining measures and pursue organ donation. Using the DonorNet system, match the organ donor with potential recipients. Multiple phone calls with Transplant center physicians, surgeons, and coordinators throughout the case until organ recovery takes place. The recovery may be done at the hospital OR or the Donor Alliance Recovery Center OR. Strong communication and multitasking skills are required as multiple conversations and phone calls with multiple hospital and transplant center staff. Family support, either at the bedside or via phone.

PD Nurse 2008 - 2011Trained ESRD patients home PD:including procedure, problem solving, troubleshooting, emergency management. Anatomy and physiology go the peritoneum and how PD works. Clinic visits 2x per month and PRN. One clinic visit is for monthly lab testing. The second is for clinic visit with the multidisciplinary team including the MD, RN, RD, SW. Other visits may be for follow up, re-education, emergency situations, etc. communication with transplant coordinators, hospitals if patient hospitalized, insurance, pharmacy, supplier for equipment. Clinical Information Systems Trainer 2005 - 2008Train new acquisition as well as existing clinics on clinical software. Duties included site contact, preparation; on-site visits for education and instruction of the program to the physicians, nurses and support staff using the software applications; Medicare Compliance; specimen handling and processing; problem solving. Deployment included maintaining frequent communication with Facility Administrators, Regional Operations Directors and other critical facility teammates.
