I replaced our old firewalls and servers upgrading our hosting environment with VxRail, newly configured firewalls and 10G network. I cleaned up the config from the old firewalls removing over 100 rules that weren't needed or were redundant and I bridged our old and new networks simultaneously with the new firewalls to allow both hosting environments to run simultaneously during our transition from one to the other. When we turned off the old firewalls, we had zero downtime. Our entire hosting environment came online as expected including over 20 IPSEC VPN tunnels and equivalent number of subnets with active VMs under them.
