Previous company, RainRock IT, was acquired by HoganTaylor to form the HoganTaylor Technology arm which continues to offer MSP services to other businesses as RainRock IT did. My main focuses were cloud and datacenter systems architecture, though implementation and support were also common tasks. I am familiar with multiple vendors for a broad array of technologies. I can work solutions from end to end. Performed vCIO role for clients as needed. Frequently advised on hardware cycles, cybersecurity practices, growth plans, and cloud adoption.I've also architected and deployed multiple secure M365/Azure offerings including a full development environment with pipelines to git and Azure DevOps for a COVID-related research project with dev, staging, and production. We had only a week to design, configure, adjust, and provide proof of concept. I built and deployed all infrastructure in a timely manner with multiple vnets, SQL databases, VPNs, VMs, and web apps with PHI security audited and confirmed secure in all stages.I like to create the secure fabric that tells the data where to go and how. I have worked multiple times with many major vendors through, Cisco, Dell, HPE, Meraki, and some limited Juniper. I have deployed many Fortinet, Meraki and Sonicwall firewalls. I replaced our old firewalls and servers upgrading our hosting environment with VxRail, newly configured firewalls and 10G network. I cleaned up the config from the old firewalls removing over 100 rules that weren't needed or were redundant and I bridged our old and new networks simultaneously with the new firewalls to allow both hosting environments to run simultaneously during our transition from one to the other. When we turned off the old firewalls, we had zero downtime. Our entire hosting environment came online as expected including over 20 IPSEC VPN tunnels and equivalent number of subnets with active VMs under them.
