In my current role at Match-Trade, my main focus is on optimizations and managing market data feeds. Key aspects of my responsibilities include:Concentration on core Java, with a strong emphasis on multithreading and efficiency.Utilization of tools such as LMAX ring buffer and Aeron to enhance performance.Integration of multiple exchanges with our internal systems, ensuring seamless operation.Initially relying on Akka for multithreading, but currently shifting towards core Java and ring buffers for increased efficiency.Until recently, heavily involved in the development of back-office components of our system, working with the typical Java stack, including Spring and PostgresManaging and testing solutions to guarantee their robustness and reliability in real-world scenarios.

Key highlights and skills:Working in a Scrum team, developing software in Java and Scala.Gained experience using tools like Git and SVN.Involvement in developing products related to risk calculation and integration with other institutions (FIX protocol).Working with systems based on Akka, with communication between them using Rabbitmq and Akka remote.Monitoring systems using tools such as Grafana, Graphite, and Prometheus.In the later part of my career at XTB, I focused on:Creating a CI/CD system by building pipelines in Jenkins and Gitlab.Dockerizing most of the team's products.Implementing deployment on Kubernetes using Helm, Ansible, and Gitlab CI.
