I am volunteering my technology consulting and software engineering skills in the areas of urban planning, autonomous vehicle control, deep-learning, computer vision, route planning, and simulation engine architecture. I apply my knowledge of motion design, A*, ROS, OpenCV, Keras, TensorFlow, C++, Python, p5.js, and JavaScript.The current response system to natural disasters still leaves many people homeless and without basic needs. To address this issue, we are designing and engineering a reliable method of rapidly deploying service and residential modules, so that our communities can more effectively support survivors during the rebuild process. We are seeking to answer the research question: "How can we improve the logistics of provisioning products and services for those left homeless in the aftermath of disaster?" One way is by developing a scalable self-similar procedure to provide uninterrupted emergency services. The matrix of interrelated components needs to be explored and pushed beyond existing solutions. Approaching the problem with scientific rigor and engineering leads to well-formulated and tested methodologies which can be adopted and adapted by organizations world-wide.

With the Software Assurance Technology Services team, a startup tasked with increasing the value of Microsoft's annuity license model, I was release program manager for three technology service releases. I drove a virtual team and coordinated beta, trial, and general releases of tools. In addition, I proposed SA Gateway which was incorporated into the plans for future services. With the Integrated Enterprise Solutions startup team, I worked closely with Barnes&Noble.com to build and operate an on-campus facility in Redmond for development and extensive testing of their clustered environment on Windows 2000 and SQL Server 2000. I added value to these products (and to bn.com) by improving transaction throughput and eliminating bugs that occur in complex enterprise environments. We upgraded the customer's production systems prior to shipment of the release products. The tool (aka DBHammer) shipped in the SQL Server 2000 Resource Kit.Starting in August 2001, our team was renamed to Microsoft Systems Architecture and I drove the editing and shipment of the Reference Architecture Guide in Internet Data Center v1.5. This product provided Microsoft customers with guidance on planning, building, and operating a complete Internet-facing data center. In addition, I proposed the merging of three datacenter architectures into a common architecture. The team later delivered this common architecture. Selected highlights: developed capacity-planning wizards for a mission-critical scheduling system called "Elvis" at Intel for worldwide production and manufacturing; developed a "Yield Rate Management" system to increase returns on room inventory at the Mirage and Treasure Island hotels in Las Vegas; designed and developed the "Retail Analysis System" to visualize sales trends in retail stores at the Mirage. At Honeywell, in the Technology Development group, I worked on artificial intelligence research and experimental application development. I designed and developed a graphical expert-system user interface for SQL-based Information Resource Dictionary System (IRDS). I also designed and prototyped a phrase-driven English language interface on top of a SQL-based corporate repository. Extensive programming in C with Microsoft Windows 1.0 and 2.0.
