During my time as a student at Vancouver Film School, I got the opportunity to volunteer for two months on an independent feature titled: Female Seeking Male.As the Second Assistant Director I maintained the daily prep memo (a daily memo detailing various meetings, rehearsals, etc., that are taking place from the very beginning of pre-production through the end of production). I also communicated locations, dates, and times to actors and crew to ensure everyone was in the right place at the right time during meetings and shooting days. I compiled and sent call sheets for each day of production and worked with the First Assistant Director on set to help coordinate an efficient and effective shoot.

During my time at WWMT - Newschannel 3, I cut news video for the six, ten, and eleven o'clock newscasts in their entirety. I worked together with the show's producers, photographers, and reporters to create the highest quality newscast possible. I cut together each show - often a high stress responsibility - in a timely and professional manner.
