As a founding member of Etch, a GIS software consulting firm, I design and develop secure and distributed geospatial web apps for a variety of organizations.

Working with an experienced consulting team, I help organizations bring new technology to their GIS data.I mostly build mobile and Web applications, for areas such as:> Emergency response mapping> Vehicle tracking and analytics> Mobile data collection / reporting> Data transformation and mashupsI love simple and clean designs, that clients can pick up and use.

Creating spatial software that can be used quickly and simply, with no setup and minimal learning curve.

In this position, I develop .NET applications for users at both the district and state level, mainly in the area of Geographical Information Systems in cooperation with the GIS Coordinator.Currently I am continuing the development of our in-house asset management software, enhancing the field collection aspect and adding analysis tools on top of the collection to develop useful information from the data. I am also heavily involved with our transition to a new Web mapping platform.

As a Computer Science intern for the District 2 GIS Coordinator, I developed applications for tracking assets via handheld devices and video images. I also assisted in the maintenance of the geographical Web mapping application and added additional features to the platform.
