Santa Fe, New Mexico

Throughout my tenure with Walgreens Boot alliance, I was consistently tasked with driving operational improvements while concurrently leading multi-locations in achieving their objectives. Highlights of my professional contributions and key achievements are detailed for each, including: ★Modeled and shared customer service best practices with entire workforce to ensure delivery of a distinct and delightful customer/patient experience by identifying customer needs and rapidly addressing concerns to build rapport. ★Achieved over 8% improvement in front-end shrink to a total of 4.2% and more than a 50% improvement in liquor shrink. ★Oversaw all aspects of store and pharmacy including opening/closing procedures, shift changes, task delegation and schedule development for team members.★Developed and implemented visual merchandising displays to increase sales through promotions, discounted pricing, signage, advertising and seasonal updates. ★Maintained and enforced strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including the sale of alcohol, tobacco, fresh food and pharmaceuticals. ★Analyzed financial performance and KPIs to develop strategies that increased profitability while controlling operational costs.

Greater San Diego Area

★Recognized for performance excellence and promoted to Community Leader Store Manager, dubbed as “Mini-District Manager,” dedicated to supervising a community of six store locations until role was eliminated due to reorganization. ★Oversaw and optimized all aspects of operations, profitability, merchandising, customer service, and staff development with annual combined sales of more than $45M.★Selected to take over the highest volume store in the district to improve all aspects of operations while holding concurrent accountability for management of assigned store location. ★Mentored and trained Store and Pharmacy management and staff that drove professional development and resulted in various individual promotions. ★Spearheaded standardization and regulatory compliance across all locations through strategic analysis of store data and coaching leadership teams in plan development to improve performances.

Southern California (Orange County & San Diego County)

★Led a successful new store opening and launch of the first Walgreens location in Orange County California.★Tasked with improving operations of a high-volume store, achieving first year improvements of $2.2M in sales, $660K in profit, 2.0% shrink reduction, and over $90K in inventory pickup; accomplished additional inventory pickup of over $40K in second year with first even shrink percentage below 2.0%. ★Opened 2nd brand new store location including integration of new pharmacy buyout business that increased script count volume from daily average of 200 to more than 1K. ★Cultivated and built a productive Assistant Manager team of approximately 120 professionals for entire district.★Managed inventory control including ordering, tracking/liquidation of stock, and anticipating product or seasonal demands. ★Served as a member of the Emerging Leader Program after being recognized for potential and was delegated additional assignments and training for growth opportunities.
