Development of test-plans.After completing studies in The Netherlands he took up permanent employment in 1994, in South Africa with the French Telco equipment manufacturer Alacatel. He gained experience in engineering in the Telecommunications Industry. Here he worked in the engineering laboratories and on several Telco products. He also set up a dedicated Business Intelligence business unit at Marketing for AAT.He then joined AMI in April 1998 where he commercialised, managed and conducted many industrial market research studies. In the IT industry sector Jeroen commercialised a market information study for all (ERP) system suppliers.In March 1999 Jeroen Joined ICON corporation as Senior managing Consultant. He gathered, evaluated, designed, re-engineered and documented numerous business processes for many projects and clients.In August 2001, Jeroen started consulting independently and his first client was Leaf Wireless where he took ownership of the development of mobile dissemination of real-time data (such as (bicycle)races as well as the development of the first (ever?) M-Commerce platform.In December 2002 he secured a retention contract with MTN SA to set up and support a new department called Business Systems Development where he was also involved with recruiting new Analysts. This department has since merged when MTN SA and MTN SP synergized and merged with MTN Business Solutions.In 2010 he joined Tele2 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands after immigrating back with wife and kids and in 2011 he was employed at UPC/Vodafone as an Information (business) analyst, both as a payroll employee. Moving countries and taking up permanent employment from being an independent contractor for 10+ years, and dealing with the resulting dynamics made Jeroen decide to spend personal time on a sabbatical break first, until 2019 after which he involved himself in adhoc industry-related assignments again, broadening opportunities within innosphere BV.
