Performed on behalf of Episcopal Health Foundation, we provide evaluation design, implementation and capacity building support for 12 safety-net clinics working across Texas to improve conditions that impact health. The evaluation includes working with clinics’ leadership to improve the quality of the data they collect and analyze. Evaluation findings are shared with a workgroup of national funders interested in advancing the model.• Quantitative Analysis of Hurricane Harvey Disaster Recovery Fund. Performed on behalf of the Greater Houston Community Foundation, we analyzed and visualized the impact of the $114 million Harvey Fund, raised and distributed to 126 local organizations to provide relief and recovery services to individuals affected by the storm. As well as quantifying impact, the evaluation worked with funders to evaluate and improve their grant distribution process to be better prepared for the next disaster. Show less

Performed on behalf of Houston Endowment, Inc., we designed and facilitated a year-long, community-wide strategic planning effort to determine the extent of maternal mortality and morbidities in Harris County, identify root causes, and develop a comprehensive long-term plan to improve maternal health outcomes in the county. With the Plan complete, Working Partner is now facilitating implementation of key recommendations in collaboration with community leaders. • Research of Behavioral Health Provider Capacity in Harris County. Performed on behalf of the Houston Health Funders Collaborative, we provided research on behavioral health providers in the county and their capacity to provide clinical services to inform community health investment decisions of the five participating foundations. The resulting report is a comprehensive assessment of the nonprofit behavioral health landscape in the greater Houston community, as well as a living resource for the collaborating foundations.
