Duties include investigating & evaluating coverage, analyzing liability and financial exposure, litigation management, negotiating settlements where appropriate, attending mediations/settlement conferences, etc., interfacing with insureds, brokers and counsel to resolve claims.

MetroLALSA is a coalition of students from the thirteen law schools in the New York-New Jersey Metropolitan Area devoted to the empowerment of Latino law students and their communities. Since 2010, MetroLALSA has united the Latino legal community together at its annual Pa’lante Conference – a day-long program of CLE credit panels, guest speakers, an organizational fair, and a concurrent Pipeline program for pre-law students.

Maintained 501(c)(3) documentation of the organization.Managed the organization mailing lists and served as primary contact for information requests. Communicated with the thirteen member law schools in the New York metropolitan area. Compiled RSVP lists for meetings and transcribed minutes.

Role included addressing interested parties’ inquiries regarding a high-profile bankruptcy administration.

Role included conducting client interviews in-person and over the phone, researching brokers, investment institutions, Business Development Companies, and securities regulation, and directing an Investor Education Seminar at a local senior center.

Drafted and revised judicial decisions on Family Court Act §1012 neglect petitions. Conducted research assignments and wrote corresponding memorandums of law.
