I am the primary HR contact for people due diligence, role mapping, compensation, benefits, immigration, and other HR-related functions for M&A activity. My focus ranges from initial due diligence to company integration, ensuring a welcoming and smooth transition for acquired employees. I’ve worked on over 150 acquisitions, with the largest deal being the $2.6B acquisition of Looker (1,000 employees across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, and Ireland).My responsibilities include:Review acquisition-related HR information to identify and advise on opportunities and risks involved in the transaction.Partner with Google Executives, Corporate Development, and HR experts in Employment Legal, Compensation, and Benefits to develop and execute on the acquisition’s HR integration plan. Google for Entrepreneurs Exchange is a week-long program that bridges the gap between startups, experts, and new markets. During the week of October 9th, our Durham-based partner American Underground is hosting the next Exchange program focused on black founders, with the goal of preparing the startups to raise seed and angel capital. I was responsible for:-- Advising the founders on their businesses through 1:1 mentorship, and helping them identify new opportunities, overcome challenges and improve their startup-- Developing and delivering trainings based on the needs of the founders-- Conducting user research based on their experience with the American Underground community to inform future trainings and help improve their products/services at Google

I collaborated with teams across People Ops and Google Product Areas to schedule interviews, integrate employee information into our HR database, generate employment contracts, and onboard employees.

Calendar Management / Organization: Managed calendars, organized internal and external meetings, aliases, coordinated travel itineraries, visa applications, expense reports, POs, and managed Gcards for 6 directors. Meeting Management: Organized meetings, Town Halls, and Offsites for a team of nearly 300 Googlers that work across Google’s Global Product areas. Organized Engineering Leadership Summit, which included senior leadership members Larry Page, Alan Eustace, and David Besbris. Organized weekly admin night (PST) syncs with my counterparts in India.Onboarding Vendors: Negotiated with vendors to determine milestones, deliverables, and payment terms for Statement Of Work contracts.Event Planning: Enterprise Product Roadmap meetings included 300+ enterprise employees from Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, UX, and Finance. Worked with our VP and product managers to organize the Enterprise Product Road meetings, including live streaming and editing the final videos for enterprise-wide distribution.

Coordinated with recruiters, HR business partners, and third party vendors to facilitate implementation of relocation packages. Collaborated with the legal team to revise Google’s relocation contract.
