I was responsible for all Employee Expense and Corporate Card functions within Cardinal Health and led a diverse and dynamic team of 25 international employees charged with running the company help desk for our Expense/Corporate Card functions.The team managed the corporate credit card service and administration of over 12,000 cardholders under both American Express and Bank of America programs spanning over 55 countries.Additionally, I oversaw the administration of Cardinal Health's global expense tracking platform (Concur) which we operated on 6 different continents.

With Cubic, I was able to continue to apply the skills I gleaned during my final tour in the Navy with the War Gaming Department at the Naval War College. I applied that experience and knowledge base to a wide range of military and multi-agency planning exercises, conferences and areas of concern to include Humanitarian Assistance, Disaster Relief and Arctic operations. I authored the 2016 Disaster Relief scenario for the Marine Corps Forces Reserve operations staff that then served to train and inform decision making surrounding Crisis Response and Disaster Relief for a force numbering nearly 40,000 Marines.

As a Military Professor of War Gaming, I was responsible for overall game development to include planning conferences, scenario and web tool development, execution and post-game analysis for over 25 war games and events.

In one of my more rewarding tours in the Navy, I led a highly dynamic staff of 25 charged with tracking, training and moving over 5,100 Sailors into and out of the Middle-East theater over the course of a 12-month period. Our cognizance spanned operations spread out over 6 different time zones. I led this staff in maximizing efficiencies from feeder commands and exercised effective budget, personnel and schedule management while building strong business relationships with other DoD service components in an austere environment. We were the final stop before many of these Sailors went forward into Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries and our team ensured that they were well trained and ready to go administratively so that they could focus solely on their jobs upon arrival.

Fleet Support Unit Five - Naval Air Station Brunswick, Maine

As the Officer in Charge of this Chief of Naval Operations Special Projects Unit, I shepherded the program from “Initial” to “Early” Operational Capability while my teams provided consistently reliable, highly sought after critical data to theater leadership during combat operations. I was honored to direct this small cadre of 18 highly specialized aircrewmen in the execution of 1,350 combat missions.

Patrol And Reconnaissance Wing Five - Naval Air Station Brunswick, Maine

During this tour, I molded a unified focused team of 25 personnel across 5 separate divisions, who briefed and debriefed all operational evolutions for four P-3C Orion aircraft squadrons encompassing 35 aircraft and 525 aircrew personnel. We qualified aircrews and provided crew-members with valuable mission performance feedback on anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare and surveillance missions in preparation for their upcoming worldwide deployments.

Patrol Squadron Eight - Naval Air Station Brunswick, Maine

I was the Operations Program Manager for a 375-man squadron. My operations team executed 2,000 flight hours on a $2M fuel budget with a severely limited asset availability. Additionally we matched FY expenditures to within 0.5% of Navy usage goals while meeting all operational and training requirements. As the Training Program Manager of the US Navy’s#1 Maritime Patrol squadron I created and directed a 16-month training plan in a resource constrained environment while maximizing training to achieve a 92% qualified rate of 135 personnel 9 months ahead of schedule.

I was hand-picked to lead the aircraft carrier USS HARRY S. TRUMAN’s largest division numbering 225 personnel. My responsibilities ranged from personnel welfare and advancement to training, qualifications and maintenance on multi-million dollar equipment, ultimately resulting in over 10,000 aircraft launches and recoveries with zero mishaps or injuries to any aircrew or flight-deck personnel over two years.
