As director of two art galleries on campus, managed all operations, including curation, art installation, programming, event planning, marketing, and communications. Mounted more than 35 exhibitions featuring nearly 500 artists, including local and national artists, as well as student and alumnae artists. Designed and oversaw campus and public programming in coordination with exhibitions, including 32 artist receptions, 14 gallery talks, 11 art workshops, and 6 panel discussions. Hired, trained, and supervised 5 guest curators and 4 student assistants. Collaborated with faculty, students, and community partners to develop exhibitions and programming that support the University mission and values of social justice and community engagement. Successfully applied for 5 grants from the Maryland State Arts Council over 5 years to support gallery operations, and wrote all mid-year and final grant reports.
